During the inspection they found that the A/C problem required a relatively simple fix, which they performed for no additional charge. And then they started on the third service that I requested, the oil change. Since mine is an older car I felt it was true, not a scam at all. The gentleman offered discounts and financing, even if I had to return at a later time for the new compression kit. It turned out to be a much bigger problem and they gave me an estimate that I was unprepared for (retired, single fixed income). First the smog test was completed successfully. The work on my car started within a few minutes after my arrival.
The lady at the front desk accepted my Groupon coupons (3 for 3 different services) while another gentleman talked to me. I got to the location shortly after they opened and there were 2 customers already there. It seemed that each was given the option of waiting or what time they should return to have the work done. Each person was given what appeared to be an honest assessment of the work that needed to be done and approximately how long it would take. Each was met with professional yet friendly deportment. While waiting for the work to be done on my car, I observed several other customers that came in for various services. Knowledgeable and competent work and excellent service
